Average co2 it takes to make an ink cartridge?
9th Aug 2022
Here are some really interesting facts about the reduction in the carbon footprint buying a remanufactured ink equants to on the environment. The carbon impact of remanufacturing inkjet cartridge is 0.81 kgCO2eq compared to 1.21 kgCO2eq for manufacturing equivalent new cartridge. This is based on 1.11 remanufacturing cycle. This translates to 0.384 and 0.573 kgCO2eq per cartridge for remanufactured and manufactured, respectively.
It not only pays to use remanufactured inks but helps the planet and reduces the total CO2 output through out the supply process.
Some really interesting information we thought we would share!
Happy Tuesday!
