Terms and Conditions

By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the www.nationalinkjets.co.uk website. (National Inkjets website). Please read these terms of sale carefully before placing your order and retain a copy of these terms and your order for future reference. You may find it helpful to print a copy for information.

Your details

a. When you register with the National Inkjets website, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised. If you are using a shared computer then we advise clearing your cookies after ordering to ensure that other persons cannot retrieve any information at all.

b. If any of your details change, such as your credit card billing address, you must inform the Nationalinkjets as soon as possible. You may update your details by signing into your account on the National Inkjets website, and update the relevant section.

c. Our website is not designed to be used by children or minors. You must not provide us with your personal information if you are under the age of 18. We do not intend to collect personal information from any individuals under the age of 18. If we receive notice or believe that someone under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information we will make every reasonable effort to remove such personal information.

Meaning of "you"; "We / Us/ Our";
a. "You" means any member of the public using this website, placing an order or transacting on this website.

b. "We/Us/Our" means Greentree Technologies Ltd. Suite A, Mulberry House, Street, Somerset, BA16 0TP

 

The Contract Between Us

a. Any contract for purchases made through this website will be with Greentree Technologies Ltd, registered in the UK, and whose registered office is Greentree Technologies Ltd, Suite A, Mulberry House, Street, Somerset, BA16 0TP,  

b. When you place an order on our website to purchase goods from us, that constitutes an "Offer to Buy" from you. We accept this order when we send you dispatch email confirming that we have dispatched the goods you have ordered from us. That acceptance will be deemed to be complete and the contract formed and communicated to you at the time we send the dispatch email, whether you receive that email or not. National Inkjets must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed except when a Business Customer uses a credit account to purchase in which case please refer to the conditions of your Business Account. Once payment has been received the National Inkjets will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email (Shipment Confirmation email) to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. National Inkjets acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.

c. National Inkjets are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regard to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made, (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email.

d. The website is updated multiple times a day with regard to Stock Availability. Whilst every effort is made to show the correct availability of stock; the stock availability shown on the website is an indication of the availability at the time of the last update and does not constitute confirmation of stock availability at time of order. National Inkjets are entitled to withdraw from any contract that cannot be fulfilled due to lack of stock. If a stock availability issue is discovered with regard to the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email.

e. National Inkjets do not supply products to wholesalers or resellers and reserves the right to cancel orders it believes are placed with the intent to resell. This includes any individual or business who are print service providers and therefore do not qualify as an end user.

f. The order acknowledgment email sent once an order is placed is not a contract and does not constitute an acceptance of your order, but only a record of your offer to purchase a particular item at a particular price. No order shall be deemed to be accepted until we issue a dispatch email.

Quality of Goods

We never compromise on the quality of our goods, we understand quality and value for money are uppermost in our customers' minds. All our products are manufactured to the highest standards, and sourced only from manufacturers with exacting standards, many holding ISO9000/9001/9002 quality and ISO 14001 environmental standards. We stock products made by your printer manufacturer and compatible products from alternative manufacturers.

For compatible products, ink/toner quality and life span are comparable to that of the branded manufacturers. Compatible remanufactured cartridges are all print tested prior to leaving our manufacturers. Contact our Customer Service team for more details. All your purchases are backed by our "100% Satisfaction Guarantee".

If your goods have been damaged in transit or you discover a fault, please retain all documentation and packaging and contact us as soon as possible after receipt. Arrangements will be agreed for return and replacement items will be dispatched. Please contact us prior to returning any goods, this will allow us to quickly resolve any issues.

Please do not post any returns back without speaking to us first. In most cases we will send you a SAE to enable you to post the items back at no cost to you; this helps us to ensure you receive the best possible Customer Service.

Please Note

*In the unlikely event of your printer/copier purchased from us acquiring a fault, you must firstly notify National Inkjets directly. Contacting us first allows our customer service team to give support & we often find a resolution to the problem being experienced which saves you time & unnecessary engineer costs. We also use an independent printer engineer for specific issues. If the printer fault occurs within one year of the purchase date, and the printer is deemed unusable then arrangements can be made to return the printer for either a replacement or a refund. National Inkjets shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, or failure to follow the Supplier’s instruction. This warranty is not transferable and excludes routine maintenance, consumables, and parts subject to normal wear and tear, service maintenance kits and damage caused by misuse or negligence. Any work arising from these instances will be chargeable.

Product Photography

Compatible/remanufactured products are manufactured in more than one factory, all of which have processes for continuous product testing to ensure we are able to provide customers with the best quality & value. Therefore it should be noted that images of these type of products are for illustrative purposes only and the actual product supplied may differ slightly from the product image used.

Email Marketing

Please note that un-subscription requests can take up to 7 days to take effect. We will only send you email updates to the address you provide us with, and we will not pass this information onto any other organisation.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee

We back all our products with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. This guarantee covers all of the products listed on the National Inkjets website, excluding printer hardware, for a period of one year after the initial purchase date. In the case of all National Inkjets Own Brand products, this guarantee is valid for two years after the initial purchase date.

An additional ‘Lifetime Printer Guarantee’ is included with all National Inkjets Own Brand products.

We are very proud of the exceptionally high quality products available on our website, all of which have proven very low return rates. In line with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, in the unlikely event you have any difficulties with any item we will:-

  • Give full email and/or telephone support
  • In the unlikely event of a technical problem, dispatch a replacement and arrange for a prepaid returns label to minimise disruption to you.
  • Offer to repurchase all or part of the goods from you.

 

Unwanted / Items Purchased in Error

For items that are bought in error, you are able to return the item at your own cost within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original unopened packaging and in a resaleable condition. A refund will be issued once we are in receipt of the items.

Just email us at support@nationalinkjets.co.uk. Our Customer Service representatives are available Monday to Friday 9am-7pm (excluding Bank Holidays), Saturday 9am-12pm.

We recommend that you ask your post office for a Certificate of Posting as Royal Mail will not accept liability for lost items without this.

Account Credit

We, at our discretion, may credit accounts with credit for future use on www.nationalinkjets.co.uk. This credit can only be used to purchase goods on www.nationalinkjets.co.uk and is not convertible into cash or any other fiat currency. Sources of credit may take the form of refunds, credit purchases or other Customer Service approved contributions. If your Account is deleted at your request or deleted due to data protection reasons then any account credit will be lost. We will communicate with you over the period of your accounts existence advising you of your balance if it is non-zero.

Cancellation

Please note that under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you are entitled to a "cooling off period". You are entitled to cancel your order 14 working days from the day after you receive your goods, for any reason. The regulations state that we must refund your money within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of the return if that is earlier. It is our policy that all monies will be returned within 3 working days of cancellation. We will request the return of the goods within a reasonable timescale agreed with each customer.

Our re-assurance to you

Our website is updated regularly throughout the day to ensure an accurate reflection of stock availability. However, in the event of any stock issue, please be assured that a member of our pro-active Customer Service team will contact you to advise you accordingly. It seldom happens, but please be assured that we will always contact you promptly.

In the unlikely event that you haven’t received your order in the estimated delivery times as detailed above, then please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team  via email: support@nationalinkjets.co.uk who will be pleased to offer further assistance and support.

It is worth noting that we find a high proportion of missing items are held at local sorting offices or are held by a neighbour or colleague. Royal Mail should leave a card indicating this, however there are times when these are misplaced or not left at all, so if possible please check first. As is customary, compensation is limited to the value of goods lost, a replacement will be offered or refund as appropriate upon confirmation that you have checked that the goods are not at your local sorting office. Royal Mail will not accept claims for goods lost in post until 15 days have elapsed from the time of dispatch. Please be aware that a claim must be made within 60 days of the purchase date. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Obtaining a Refund

After you've placed an order with National Inkjets, you can ask for your money back if you don’t receive the item:

  • 30 days after your Order Confirmation

We will attempt to fulfil your order by the delivery date set out in the Order Confirmation email. If no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days of the date of the Order Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances. We will contact you if your order will not be fulfilled within this time. In the unlikely event we are unable to supply the product ordered, we will advise you as soon as is possible.

Dispatch of Goods to You

Unless you notify us, in respect of all orders at the time of placing the order(s), that you will arrange for your own collection of goods from our place of business we will arrange for the dispatch of your order on your behalf. Collection is not always available and IS ONLY BY prior arrangement.

Goods will be dispatched as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. We understand that timely delivery is important to all our customers and we want to ensure we provide the best service possible.

We will arrange, on your behalf, to dispatch via post, or, if deemed appropriate, arrange a courier, the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give to National Inkjets at the time you make your order.

Ownership, Title and Risk

All ownership, title and risk of loss and/or damage in the goods purchased shall pass to you at the point and time at which the goods are dispatched and also paid for. If you purchase on credit, the goods remain the property of National Inkjets until full payment has been received.

Shipping, Handling and VAT

UK deliveries

The prices payable for goods as set out in the website are, inclusive of VAT and shipping/handling costs. Delivery is included for deliveries in the UK.

This site is not able to take orders for delivery to territories other than the UK, Spain & Ireland EU handling costs will be applied at checkout for regions outside of the UK.

General Information

These terms and conditions, together with the current National Inkjets website prices, delivery details and National Inkjets contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by The National Inkjets. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a Director of The National Inkjets Limited. In particular nothing said by any sales person on behalf of National Inkjets should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised National Inkjets representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by The National Inkjets. National Inkjets shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

All brand names and product names are trademarks or trade names of their respective holders. The brands and trademarks owned by the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) are referred to only for the purpose of pointing out which of the OEM products ours are compatible with. National Inkjets is not in any way associated with any OEM.

Liability

Force Majeure

National Inkjets shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Invalidity

If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which National Inkjets excludes its liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Governing Law

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

WEEE

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximize separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK retailers must provide a process which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge, on a like-for-like basis.

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fasting growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, the electrical equipment will end up in landfill, with the potential of hazardous substances leaking and contaminating soil and water – harming both wildlife and human health.

We can help

If you are purchasing a new ink cartridge, toner cartridge or printer, we are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to recycle their old one for free.

Please contact our Customer Service team to request a recycling envelope or pre-paid label, to enable you to forward your old ink cartridge, toner cartridge or printer to us for recycling.

To remind you that electrical equipment can be recycled, all products are now marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. Please recycle all products that bear this symbol.
